Thank you for your generosity during our most recent Kol Nidre Campaign!
The Merrick Jewish Centre must continue to create bold and innovative programming to ensure the continuity of Conservative Judaism on the South Shore of Long Island. MJC’s response to Superstorm Sandy was unparalleled by any other synagogue; our growing Hebrew School is dynamic and engaging; youth and family activities bring in record numbers and our Lifelong Learning program is viewed as a vibrant communal resource. MJC’s clergy team is second to none.
The Kol Nidre Campaign constitutes a meaningful portion of our financial plan. We would like to ask your family to consider a gift to help make this next year another shining star. Together - we can surpass our goal. A gift at any level would be warmly received. Please note that your contribution can be paid all at once or throughout the year. For example, a Patron level gift could be achieved by a commitment of $42 per month.
To honor our most generous donors, we have a beautiful “Scroll of Honor” recognition board listing individuals and families. Please consider joining us as:
Pillars of the Torah: $10,000 Sponsor: $1,000
Guardian: $5,000 Patron: $500
Builder: $2,500 Supporter: $360
All Kol Nidre contributions will also be included in our central listing located in the main lobby. Please consider the very modest addition your family can make in your children and grandchildren’s honor and see their name on the “Kids for Kol Nidre” board in the lobby. It is a source of great excitement for them and sets them on the path of charitable giving that will be so important in their own lives.
You are also welcome to make your Kol Nidre donation by downloading and completing a Pledge Card (click here) or directly on the MJC web site. Simply go to www.merrickjc.org and follow the instructions for “Payments” or by clicking here.
With warmest wishes for a happy, healthy, prosperous, peaceful and sweet New Year.
