MJC Sisterhood is a dynamic, inter-generational group of women who come together in friendship. The goals of the group are to commit our talents and energy to the synagogue, to our community, and to tikkun olam - healing the world.
To achieve this goal, Sisterhood sponsors programs focusing on mitzvot, Israel, Jewish learning, and social activities and which provide an outlet for everyone's creativity, leadership, and talents. Sisterhood allows each woman to expand and grow within a Jewish atmosphere.
Each person is important. Many together make a difference. We welcomes all women in the congregation to join us as members and participants.
Sisterhood dues are $40 a year, which includes admission to the Paid-Up Membership event. This fee helps support Sisterhood activities.
